The long seven-year wait for a new Exodus is finally over! The thrash metal band has returned with the single “The Beatings Will Continue (Until Morale Improves)”, the first taste of the album Persona Non Grata .

The single is powerful and fast-paced from beginning to end, with lyrics that criticize the behavior of riot police, usually called upon to control and disperse crowds at demonstrations, due to the violence employed in their actions. "Smile in the face of abuse / You have nothing to lose / The beatings will continue / Until morale improves," the lyrics say. The cover art depicts menacing police officers with batons raised.

The successor to Blood In Blood Out (2014) was scheduled for release in 2019, when vocalist Steve 'Zetro' Souza described the new project as "absolutely heavy, brutal, violent and crazy". Last year, Gary Holt hinted that the riffs on the new songs would be "incredible".

The album Persona Non Grata will have 12 tracks and will be released on November 19th by Nuclear Blast Records, but is already available for pre-order. See the cover and tracklist below.
