Generally speaking, extreme metal often deals with graphic themes, inspired by horror films. But in the case of the American band Existentia , the chosen subject is social consciousness, as clearly shown in the single "Planned Obsolescence".

Wikimetal 's discoveries on Groover , the band explores the more technical and brutal side of death metal with deep guttural vocals and a relentless rhythm.

In the single “Planned Obsolescence”, part of Existentia’s debut EP, Calculating Failure (2021), the group talks about the “dark reality” of a world at war, whose future is still uncertain.

Currently, the band is in the process of finalizing their first studio album, with a release scheduled for 2023.
