The South African band Sunken State releases this Friday, the 30th, exclusively on Wikimetal the single “Separation Has Begun”. The track is part of the album Solace In Solitude , scheduled for release on June 11th.
In a statement released to the press, the band explained that the song is about humanity's disconnection from nature. "Mother Nature is fierce, beautiful, frightening, and inspiring – we can't live without her." They go on to say that the way we live, exploiting nature without thinking about the consequences, is focused only on the short term and not on our actual survival.
“Separation Has Begun” promises to deliver classic groove while questioning our disrespect for the environment. Listen to the track below.
