Following the release of the album Blasfêmea (2025) , Eskröta presents the music video for the track “A Bruxa”, which you can check out exclusively on Wikimetal before the official release.
The song, which has weight and lyrical density, now gains an intense visual narrative. The music video was directed by George Lucas, who was also responsible for the video for "Mantra" feat. MC Taya , released in April 2025.
This new music video was filmed amidst the Rio Claro forest reserve, a place that holds the legend of the "Witch of the Reserve" and evokes images of female strength and insubordination, with references to the struggles that permeate a woman's body. In a setting marked by symbolism and contrasts, the witch is not feared, she is revered. She represents all those who burned and those who still burn for challenging oppressive structures.
“This music video was a surprise for us; we weren't planning a production for this song because it contains many elements, and we were wondering how difficult it would be to execute. But the video director really believed in the idea and convinced us to produce it. Today, we are grateful that he insisted because it turned out truly incredible,” Yasmin (vocalist) Wikimetal .
“We filmed a good portion of the scenes in the Rio Claro Forest Reserve, a mystical area that carries the legend of the 'Witch of the Reserve'. For this, we had to request authorization from the responsible authorities, and we had a team accompanying us to prevent any unwanted encounters with alligators, wild boars, and other animals that surround the region. Everything made sense, and the atmosphere was perfect for delivering the images,” he concludes.
With this music video, Eskröta reinforces its commitment to art that provokes, denounces, and inspires. “A Bruxa” (The Witch) celebrates the strength of women who dare to exist outside the norm. Check it out exclusively here:
