Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider will be re-releasing the classic album Balls To The Wall (1983) through Reigning Phoenix Music to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The new edition of the album includes illustrious guests such as Joakim Brodén , vocalist of Sabaton , Michael Kiske , of Helloween , among several others. The album will be available on February 28th.
Udo says that re-recording the album was a "great challenge" for him, since it is a major "milestone" for the vocalist, which motivates him to make the songs have a "new shine without losing their original essence," according to Bravewords .
“The result is a powerful tribute to all the fans, but also an invitation for the next generation to experience the songs, no less passionately than when I recorded them back then. It’s a personal journey that never ends for me – Balls To The Wall will always be a part of me,” concludes Udo.
