Bangers Open Air has announced a side show by the Swedish band Evergrey , which will take place at the Manifesto Bar venue on April 22, 2026. The opening act will be Silver Dust , also a festival attraction. Tickets are already on sale through the Clube do Ingresso website.
The organization announced that the performance is part of an exclusive series of side shows that will bring the atmosphere of some of the festival's main acts to more intimate and intense performances.
The Gothenburg-based prog metal band, Evergrey, continues to promote their 14th studio album, Theories of Emptiness . Its successor , A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament), was promoted in Brazil at the inaugural edition of the festival that originated Bangers Open Air.
“Brazil is always wonderful! There was a time when we were there, we bought a bottle of cachaça ourselves and made our own caipirinha by the pool. Then we went to play football with some Brazilians, we ate barbecue…”. This statement is from Tom S. Englund , leader, vocalist, guitarist and composer of the Swedish band, who came to Brazil for the first time in 2005.
