Evanescence released their highly anticipated sixth studio album, titled Sanctuary , this Friday, the 5th . The project is the culmination of a meticulous production process and presents the band at their most powerful and visceral.
“This album took over three years to make and I’m so proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it was my escape valve for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection,” said Amy Lee.
The deluxe physical CD version includes a Blu-ray containing the historic Live in São Paulo, a show recorded in Brazil in 2023, which marked the biggest solo performance in Evanescence's history. It also includes a documentary about the Latin American tour and behind-the-scenes footage of the "Who Will You Follow" music video.
In 2025, Evanescence released "Fight Like A Girl" with K. Flay . In addition to the collaboration with Halsey, a featured singer, on the song "Hand That Feeds ." Then, Amy Lee joined forces with Poppy and Courtney LaPlante (Spiritbox) on the single "End Of You." The band also released "Afterlife," part of the Devil May Cry soundtrack .
Evanescence will embark on an extensive tour of North America, the UK, and Europe, bringing together one of the strongest lineups in current alternative rock. The band, led by Amy Lee, will be joined by special guests Spiritbox, Poppy, Nova Twins, and K. Flay.
