Evanescence has just released the official music video for their single, “Use My Voice,” a track that will be on their upcoming album, The Bitter Truth .
The song, which features Lzzy Hale of Halestorm , Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless , Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation , and violinist Lindsey Stirling , has a moving music video that delivers a clear and direct message:
Use your voice. Vote.
The video features frontwoman Amy Lee , her bandmates, and various other people, united by change and justice. The clip also includes an appearance by Lzzy Hale and was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Eric Howell .
“We are proud to stand up and join the fight against the injustices, lies, and oppression that plague our country and the world,” says Amy.
"It doesn't matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from, or who you love: Your voice matters. We hope to shine a light in the darkness to empower and inspire. Use your voice. Vote."
The Bitter Truth doesn't yet have a release date, but the band has confirmed it will be released this year. It will be Evanescence's first album of new material in a decade.
