Evanescence's new album does not yet have a release date.
Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee has confirmed that the band will soon begin working on a new album, the successor to their self-titled 2011 release. “That’s the plan,” she told American radio station Wrif. “The plan is to work on a new album. We don’t have a timeline right now. We’re focused on touring and this whole huge, crazy thing we’re doing, but yeah, that’s the plan. You’ll hear from us.”
Asked if she's been collecting ideas for new songs, the singer said, "Yes, always. I have a small pile that's been building up over the years."
Evanescence's last album was Synthesis , released in 2017, and features reinterpretations of the band's most beloved songs, as well as some new tracks. In support of the album, the band is on an extensive North American tour, along with violinist Lindsey Stirling .
