Evanescence announced their new single, “Afterlife,” for Friday, March 28th. A lyric video will be released on YouTube at 1 PM (Brasilia time) on Thursday, March 27th.

The track is part of the soundtrack for the adult animated action-fantasy series, Devil May Cry , which will be released by Netflix . The series is based on the Japanese video game franchise of the same name. Created by Adi Shankar and produced by Studio Mir, Devil May Cry is scheduled for release on April 3rd.

This will be the first new song from the American band since the album The Bitter Truth (2021).
