Erik Grönwall , former vocalist of Skid Row , made a special appearance at Europe in Stockholm, Sweden, last Thursday, the 23rd.

Grönwall and Europe sang together the second-to-last song on the setlist, "Cherokee." Some fans who were at the show managed to capture the moment; check it out in the video below:

After the performance, Erik shared some photos of the occasion on his Instagram profile , with the following caption: “Thank you Europe for having me. It was an honor to share the stage with you for a few seconds! And what an incredible show you put on at home [Sweden].”

Erik Grönwall's departure from Skid Row

In March 2024, Skid Row announced Erik's departure from the band due to health issues. In 2021 he was diagnosed with leukemia, and the demanding lifestyle of touring, with its frequent travel, was not conducive to his recovery.

Lzzy Hale , vocalist of Halestorm , was chosen to replace Erik for the remainder of Skid Row's tour, as the band has yet to announce a new official vocalist.
