Earlier this week, Kiss performed in Texas, and during their stay, drummer Eric Singer received a beautiful tribute.
Dressed in the group's legendary attire, Singer attended a ceremony after receiving a letter from the Wharton police chief accepting the title of honorary state corporal. In a Facebook post, the Police Department wrote:
“The Chief’s letter to Singer reads in part, ‘On behalf of Chief Terry David Lynch, and the men and women of the Wharton Police Department, we appoint you to the rank of Honorary Corporal with our department, in grateful recognition of the honor and respect you show to the heroes and families who work for U.S. law enforcement.’”
“The Corporal badge presented to you today has been worn selflessly by many within our department, and today, a new chapter begins with you. We ask that you display it proudly, as it represents our commitment to protecting those who call upon us in times of danger, and in memory of the nearly 24,000 officers who have paid the ultimate price since 1791.”
End of the Road tour continues until 2020. Will we see the group in Brazil?
