Eric Martin and Jeff Scott Soto brought the Double Trouble Tour to Belo Horizonte last Sunday, the 11th, in a memorable night for hard rock and heavy metal fans. The event, organized by Numb Brasil Produções, took place at Mister Rock and featured the Minas Gerais band Medjay , with guitarist Hugo Mariutti Spektra also took the stage , and in addition to their energetic performance, served as the backing band for the main acts.

On a cloudy Sunday evening, Medjay took to the stage promptly at 7 pm, where they presented their power metal, notable for its thematic approach inspired by Egyptian culture. With a particularly distinctive repertoire and a striking stage presence, the group won over the audience from the very first chords.
In addition to their consistent sound, the musicians also relied on a strong theatrical appeal. The screen displayed images and scenes that alluded to the theme of each song, creating an immersive atmosphere. The staging was complemented by dancers Camille Figueiredo and Iara Scarpelli , who brought elements of belly dancing, reinforcing the mystical and cultural vibe of the band.
Immediately, the Belo Horizonte audience showed great support, singing along to the original songs of their fellow countrymen. However, the highlight of the performance came with the entrance of Hugo Mariutti. Together, they played "Distant Thunder" and "Fairy Tale" by Shaman , moving the audience – and to close, they presented their own version of the opening theme from Saint Seiya , which combined nostalgia and heaviness in a vibrant performance.
Next, it was Elektra's turn to take the stage. With vibrant and well-executed hard rock, the band kept the night's energy high. Their lively performance won over part of the audience and set the stage for what was to come.

Without a break between sets, Eric Martin was announced and took the stage with the musicians from Elektra as his backing band. The Mr. Big vocalist was cheered as soon as he stepped onto the stage. With his characteristic charisma, he quickly connected with the audience. During the show, he alternated between songs from his solo career and Mr. Big's greatest hits. The highlight was the songs "Shine," "To Be With You," and "Wild World," sung in unison by the fans.

Soon after, it was Jeff Scott Soto's turn to take the stage and electrify the venue with a thrilling show. His impressive stage presence and contagious energy captivated the audience from beginning to end. Throughout the performance, Jeff took the audience on a true journey through his career.
Like the previous set, this one included big hits like Journey and the powerful medley "I Am a Viking / I'll See the Light Tonight," which recalled his time with Yngwie Malmsteen . Another highlight was the performance of "Stand Up and Shout" from the movie Rockstar , which transformed Mister Rock into a true collective chorus.

To close the night, Soto called Eric Martin back to the stage. Together, they played classics from their careers, with great harmony. The chemistry between the two is evident. Throughout the show, they joked around on stage, exchanged smiles, and interacted with the audience in a light and spontaneous way.
Finally, a celebratory atmosphere took over, and the audience responded with great enthusiasm, singing and cheering along to every song. The highlight was the closing with "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy," a classic by Mr. Big, which ended the night perfectly. The fans said goodbye enthusiastically, wishing the show would never end.
