Eric Clapton will return to Brazil after more than a decade. The musician announced three shows in the country in 2024, as part of a tour celebrating his 60-year career.
Clapton's world tour will begin in May of next year in Newcastle, England, and dates have already been set for Brazil: the shows here will take place in Curitiba (Ligga Arena) on September 24th, in Rio de Janeiro (Jeunesse Arena) on September 26th, and in São Paulo (Allianz Parque) on September 29th.
Eric Clapton's concerts in Brazil are presented by Santander Brasil, in another production by Move Concerts . Tickets will be available for exclusive pre-sale to Santander cardholders starting December 11th, next Monday, at 10 am, with the possibility of payment in up to 6 installments without interest. For the general public, sales begin on December 13th, also at 10 am, both through the LivePass . Prices vary according to the city and sector; see the details in the service section at the end of the article.
For all shows, the age rating is 16 years old unaccompanied. Minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
Eric Clapton's last visit to Brazil was in 2011. Previously, the artist had only performed here on two other occasions: 2001 and 1990.
For the shows in the country in 2024, all performances will also feature an opening act by singer and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. , a four-time Grammy winner for blues songs and albums.
