Eric Clapton may return to Brazil for the first time in over a decade in 2024.
According to journalist Lauro Jardim , in his column in the newspaper O Globo , the musician is negotiating shows "in some capital cities" and his visit to Brazil is "almost certain." So far, nothing has been officially announced.
Eric Clapton hasn't performed in Brazil for 12 years. His last visit to Brazil was in 2011, with shows in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, and Rio de Janeiro.
Clapton is yet another name to join the list of artists who may come to Brazil in 2024. According to Amaury Jr. , the Rolling Stones are also in negotiations to perform in more than one city, and according to journalist José Norberto Flesch , Lollapalooza Brazil is trying to close a deal with Pearl Jam .
