Guitarist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Santiago is preparing to release a new album, his fifth solo work, Song For Tomorrow . The first single is "Open World" featuring the illustrious Eric Clapton.

“My father took me to one of his shows in Brasília when I was about 11 years old, and since then Eric Clapton has become one of my heroes. His involvement in this project is a dream come true for me. And having Kurt Rosenwinkel producing the album is equally powerful, since he and Clapton are my biggest inspirations on the guitar. I feel very grateful and immensely happy to be able to count on them in my new album,” Santiago commented in a statement released to the press.

The invitation for Eric Clapton to participate in the album came from his longtime friend, producer Kurt Rosenwinkel. Clapton expresses enthusiasm for Daniel Santiago's work: "Listen to this, I guarantee it will change your mind. It gives me peace and hope, it makes me want to play."

The music video for “Open World” has also been released – watch it below. The album Song For Tomorrow is scheduled for release in April.
