Epica is preparing a series of surprises for fans in December. The Dutch symphonic metal band announced the release of the album and DVD Ωmega Alive , the result of a super-produced virtual concert, and the arrival of the book Essence of Epica in Brazil for the first time.
With the music video for “Unchain Utopia,” the group announced the arrival of the grand Ωmega Alive in DVD and live album format. The performance, described as a meeting of Marvel and Cirque du Soleil in the Tim Burton , was broadcast live during the pandemic with pyrotechnics, rain, dancers, choir, and actors. In Brazil, the project arrives in a national edition with a double CD and a DVD on December 3rd, with pre-orders already available .

On the same date, the book Essence of Epica arrives for Brazilian fans through Liberation Music Company. Translated into Portuguese for the first time, the book narrates each step of the band's history officially, with first-person accounts, from their childhood to the group's global success. Available for pre-order with special conditions, the book will be released in hardcover, with 205 pages on special paper and more than 200 images.
