The original members of Entombed paid tribute to vocalist Lars-Göran Petrov , who passed away on March 7th.
Alex Hellid , Uffe Cederlund , and Nicke Andersson posted a photo of the vocalist as a young man on Facebook with the following caption: “Every year, every struggle, every dream, the fight, the rewards, the humor, the laughter, and the tears. It’s been a long journey and the memories are many and fantastic. Everything we’ve experienced and laughed about together, the big and the small, from being teenagers to almost growing up.”
“His now legendary and unique sayings, his 'LGisms,' will surely one day be included in the dictionary. How can one argue against 'Pizza was invented in the late 70s by the Turkish people in Bredäng (Sweden)'? Our thoughts go out to his family and his other, wider family – his many friends around the world. Through everyone you touched, you live on. We will miss you forever, a member of our family, and will always cherish the good memories. Rest in peace, LG. Uffe, Nicke, and Alex.”
