The progressive black metal band Enslaved has announced a new EP titled Caravans to the Outer Worlds. This work will follow the group's 15th studio album, Utgard , released last year.

To celebrate the new release, they unveiled the EP's title track along with a music video, which you can listen to below. Caravans to the Outer Worlds will be released on October 1st by Nuclear Blast and is already available for pre-order.

According to a statement by guitarist Ivar Bjørnson to the press, the EP came as a beacon of hope for the group after the release of Utgard . "This story needed to be told," he said. "Past, present, and future have come together in this EP, which marks a big step for us."
