The miners from Eminence released this Friday, the 12th, the single “Dark Echoes” and the official music video. The track opens the band's new album, scheduled for release in June of this year.
The track features a special guest appearance by vocalist Björn Strid , from the Swedish band Soilwork , and Rodrigo Garcia from the Orquestra Mineira de Rock.
“The lyrics are a protest and address political themes, social inequality, racism, and homophobia. We must not remain silent in the face of what is happening in Brazil and the world!” explains guitarist Alan Wallace in a statement released to the press.
Dark Echoes is the band's sixth studio album, produced by Danish producer Tue Madsen , known for his work with bands like Suicide Silence, Behemoth, Meshuggah , and Heaven Shall Burn.
This work marks the debut of drummer Alexandre Oliveira (Tianastácia, Troops of Doom and Raising Conviction) replacing André Márcio (ex- Overdose ).
