Emily Armstrong , lead singer of Linkin Park , participated in an episode Woman Who Make Q101 program with Lauren O'Neil on Q101 Radio . The interview was an interesting conversation about Emily's entire musical journey leading up to her joining Linkin Park.

During the interview (via Blabbermouth ), the singer emphasized how surreal and almost magical the connection they had from the beginning was:

“When we returned to the studio to write for the second time, everything started to fall into place in an unexpected way. We noticed so many similarities that weren't clear before. It was as if everything was aligning perfectly. I thought, 'How come I've never met these people before?', but suddenly, everything started to make sense. We were in the same place, searching for something that we finally found together.”

For the vocalist, these moments were crucial for the chemistry between the band to truly happen. It was when they realized that both Emily Armstrong and Linkin Park were looking for this: “We found so many similarities that it just started to bring us closer and closer. It was like, 'Okay, this is it'.”

These moments made Emily the perfect answer to what Linkin Park was looking for, and the match was instant. An explosion of great music combined with her charisma and vocal delivery alongside Mike Shinoda , who possesses incredible energy and charisma.

The band returns to Brazil for four more memorable shows in November and is about to release the new song "Up From The Bottom" on March 27th.
