Just over a month after breaking his leg Sepultura show , drummer Eloy Casagrande returned to touring with the group. Eloy's first show after the incident took place last Saturday, the 11th, at the Download Festival in the United Kingdom.
The drummer's return came after he released a video detailing his recovery process. Unfortunately, the drummer had to use his left leg more to play, while his right leg is his preferred and stronger leg. He can only use it for five songs a night, and for the others he will have to rely on his "dumb leg," as he calls his left leg.
In the video, the Brazilian musician also shares details about the pain he experienced, which led him to undergo emergency surgery, explaining that the situation is not yet fully resolved and that he will need to undergo another procedure in the future.
Meanwhile, Sepultura is preparing to Quadra album tour in Europe , which will run until July 23rd, when the group performs in Athens, Greece.
Watch the video below and then check out some videos that Eloy posted on his social media showing what it's been like to return to the stage.
