Spanish singer-songwriter Elisa C. Martin recently released the autobiographical and emotional studio album Nothing Without Pain (2023). In the project's 11 tracks, she sings about her loves, pains, triumphs, passions, and fears.
“ Nothing Without Pain is undoubtedly the most special album of my entire career. In each of the songs I wrote, you will find a piece of my life: joy, fear, sadness, struggle, love, and above all, a lot of sincerity. They came from the bottom of my heart, without any censorship and without thinking about a particular style,” the singer said in a statement released to the press.
“It’s a very inspiring album. I’m sure that when you listen to it, the music and lyrics will make you feel like you can handle anything. That you have to try again. That you deserve a second chance and, above all, that you have to move on when life knocks you down. Nothing is achieved without pain.”.
The album is her debut and features her latest single, “No Fear,” which speaks of grit and persistence. The music video can be watched at the end of this article. Previously, the singer had already released “No More,” “Take Off The Mask,” “Carry On,” and “The End.”.
Elisa C. Martin's project was produced by Damien Rainaud and Brazilian guitarist Bill Hudson , and recorded in Los Angeles and Spain.
