The band Electric Mob releases their new album this Friday, the 27th. 2 Make U Cry & Dance arrives on the market through the Italian label Frontiers Music with the arduous task of succeeding the exciting Discharge (2020) , responsible for elevating the band from Curitiba to a prominent position in the world of hard rock Wikimetal Music label .

With their very first album, Electric Mob achieved some remarkable feats, such as earning the respect of music critics, getting airplay on radio stations in Europe and the United States, entering the Billboard/BDS Indicator Chart , and reaching impressive numbers on streaming platforms.

But it seems that the weight and responsibility of meeting the high expectations – from the public, the media, the record label, and even themselves – didn't affect the quartet formed by Renan Zonta (vocals), Ben Hur Auwarter (guitar), Yuri Elero (bass), and André Leister (drums) in the slightest. 2 Make U Cry & Dance is more than a natural evolution of Discharge ; it's a leap forward.

Electric Mob manages to maintain its original vibe while adding new elements to its sound, making it even more vigorous and current. In short, the new work represents the refinement of the formula the band has followed since its formation in 2016, exploring the fusion of classic old-school elements from the 1970s and 1980s with the explosive groove of heavy rock from the 90s and 2000s.

“This is an album that contains our truth,” comments Renan Zota. “Lately we’ve gone through difficult times, faced a series of misfortunes from the pandemic, lost loved ones, but even in the worst moments, we never abandoned our dreams. We moved forward and used all that experience when composing new songs. Just because you’re crying one day doesn’t mean you can’t dance the next, right? That’s the message of 2 Make U Cry & Dance .”
