Electric Callboy released the music video for the track "Revery" last Friday, the 23rd. This is the most intense and dark work from the German band.
The song will be part of their seventh studio album, details of which have not yet been revealed. In a press release, the band commented: “We are so excited to finally share Revery with you! This song delves into a darker, more serious side of our sound and means a lot to us personally because it’s very different from what we usually do. The whole process, from songwriting to recording a very special video, pushed us down new paths and made us even more excited for you to finally hear it!”
This is the first track released since the departure of drummer David-Karl Friedrich last month, who was a member of the band for 13 years. During the music video, a mysterious musician can be seen playing the drums.
The techno metalcore band kicked off their European tour, accompanied by Frank Zummo , drummer of Sum 41 , who was announced as a replacement for David-Karl Friedrich for the shows.
“Fans can expect a powerful live experience, with Frank bringing his explosive energy to the drums. Making this summer and all his shows something truly special – don’t miss this unforgettable live collaboration!”, commented the band.
