This week's National Pride band is Electric Age, whose sound is inspired by 70s/80s Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, and Heavy Metal.
Formed in August 2011, the band, composed of Luiz Felipe Cardim (Guitar), Otavio Cintra (Bass), Rafael Nicolau “The Boss” (Drums) and Junior Rodrigues (Vocals), started as a Deep Purple tribute band.
The band won the 9th edition of the Manifesto Rock Fest in 2011 and decided to move forward with a project of original music, under the name Electric Age. Currently, Electric Age is working on the release of their first EP, which will have five tracks.
