Sepultura posted a statement to fans via Facebook: “The Sepultura show that was to be held on June 4th, 2016 in Cairo, unfortunately had to be cancelled a few hours before its start due to some unresolved bureaucratic issues between the local promoter and the Cairo authorities. We deeply regret this for the fans who were eagerly awaiting the show, but these are legal matters beyond the control of any artist. We hope to return to this great country soon!”
