Brazilian rock band Ego Kill Talent released their new single “Thousand Nails” this Thursday, the 2nd, featuring a special appearance by drummer John Dolmayan from System Of a Down .

The track was recorded before the pandemic, when the band and Dolmayan met in Los Angeles. According to vocalist Jonathan Dörr , the relationship between the band and the drummer is not only one of mutual admiration, but also of friendship.

“John is a great friend of ours and a supporter of Ego Kill Talent. He was the first person to hear the band back in the beginning,” he recalls. “He has a very authentic signature in the way he plays drums, and that’s valuable. He contributed with great and bold inputs.

John Dolmayan also expressed his enjoyment of the collaboration and praised the musicians of Ego Kill Talent. "Working with the guys was fun and easy. They are talented composers and instrumentalists, but they are also open to new ideas," he commented.
