The opportunity to open shows never comes without challenges, but Ego Kill Talent demonstrated firmness and competence when they took the stage at Morumbi last night, the 10th, before Greta Van Fleet and Metallica .
Promptly at 6:30 PM, the national rock band took the stage for a quick, half-hour set that gradually won over the audience. "We are very honored to be here fulfilling the mission of warming up the stage for the greatest rock band in the world," said vocalist Jonathan Corrêa . "We've waited two years for this night and we're going to make it the best night of our lives."

The task of opening the show every night of the World Wired in Brazil, so eagerly awaited by fans after several postponements caused by the pandemic, couldn't be in better hands. Formed in 2014, Ego Kill Talent consists of competent and experienced musicians, having played on some of the biggest stages in the world, from Download Festival to Rock In Rio , as well as being the backing band for bands like Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age .
Therefore, the band took to the stage confidently and ready to deliver a well-executed set, complete with constant instrument changes by the talented Jean Dolabella, Theo van der Loo, Niper Boaventura , and Raphael Miranda .
With each new song, the band gradually won over more and more people in the audience, which included fans wearing the group's t-shirt, and they put on a show that felt like they were at home – and, considering that Ego Kill Talent originated in the city of São Paulo, they truly were.
