Ego Kill Talent , the band responsible for opening for System of a Down's , announced three guest performers on their Instagram.

Currently, the Allianz Parque show features Chaene da Gama, bassist for Black Pantera , on May 10th, and guitarist Jessica di Falchi on May 11th. The show taking place at the Interlagos racetrack on May 14th will feature guitarist Jean Patton, known for his work with Project46 .

Above all, the announcement comes amid negative reactions on social media regarding how often EKT opens for major international acts.

Ego Kill Talent speaks out about criticism

In an interview with Folha de S.Paulo, the band addressed the criticism they received. Bassist Cris Botarelli that the problem with the audience isn't personal, but rather a deficiency in the national music scene's treatment of musicians.

Theo Van der Loo, guitarist and founder, says there is no favoritism and that the band has been working together for a long time. "The international artist always chooses the opening act."

John Dolmayan, drummer for System of a Down, publicly defended EKT , speaking about the friendship between those involved and that they chose the opening band. "Stop it, grow up and keep your hate under control."
