Last Monday, the 30th, Ego Kill Talent announced the departure of their longtime vocalist, Jonathan Dörr .
Through social media, the band released a statement revealing that the decision was Jonathan's and that they believe it is the "healthiest option for everyone." They also stated that they are already working with a new person. Read the full statement:
"Dear friends,
After 8 years, 2 incredible albums, dozens of unforgettable shows and great moments together, Jonathan has decided to pursue his own path outside of Ego Kill Talent. We also believe this is the healthiest thing for everyone and wish him the best of luck in his future projects!
We're already working with a new person here, rehearsing for upcoming shows in the US, writing more songs, and excited to share everything with you.
Something good is coming!
We love you all.”
So far, Jonathan has not made any statement on social media.
