Before embarking on their first shows on American soil, the Brazilian quintet Ego Kill Talent released the first part of their new project, Ego Kill Talent Acoustic , featuring acoustic versions of songs from their previous albums ( The Dance Between Extremes, Ego Kill Talent ).
Arriving as the first in a trilogy of EPs, the new release brings an acoustic take on the songs “Our Song”, “Diamonds and Landmines” and “The Reason”. “The guitar arrangements for this acoustic version create a good space for the vocal melody to lead the song,” comments vocalist Jonathan Dörr . “We sought to simplify the arrangements as much as possible without changing the essence of the songs.”
Ego Kill Talent has confirmed appearances at the Aftershock in California on October 7th and at Welcome to Rockville in Florida on November 12th, joining big names like Metallica and The Offspring on the lineup.
