Edu Falaschi , former vocalist of Angra , releases a live version of "Nova Era" taken from the Vera Cruz . The Blu-ray is scheduled for release in 2025 to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of Rebirth.
The vocalist states, via Rockbizz , that it is a "very special day" for him, as it coincides both with the day he joined Angra and with the day his daughter Mikaela , making "a point of celebrating with the fans, gifting them with the first single from the highly anticipated Blu-ray Vera Cruz ."
Vera Cruz brings together a band composed of Roberto Barros and Diogo Mafra (guitar), Raphael Dafras (bass), Aquiles Priester (drums), and Fábio Laguna (keyboards). Arthur Bevilacqua supervised the technical production and was also responsible for the stage design and direction.
The Blu-ray aims to reaffirm the impact and contribution that Rebirth and Edu Falaschi have had on power metal. Fans are full of expectations and eagerly awaiting the release of Vera Cruz in 2025.
