Can we dream of a reunion between Edu Falaschi and Angra ? This is a controversial question, but one that is always present in the imagination of the band's fans.
After public disagreements between both parties, the singer from Angra's most commercially successful phase seems more willing to consider this possibility, especially with the approach of the 20th anniversary of the classic Temple of Shadows , which could lead to a tour in 2024.
In an interview with Ibagenscast , Edu Falaschi acknowledged a possible reunion tour as "a complex undertaking," but expressed optimism, at least as far as he was concerned. "I think we're reaching a point where we can say: 'Okay, fine, we had our problems, jealousy issues and a lot of things, fights, disappointments,' but it's already at a good point where 'it's over, it's okay'."
The musician was measured in his response and acknowledged that "no one needs to be best friends for life" in a potential reconciliation. "But at least respect each other and not have any more petty squabbles, that kind of thing that happened frequently until recently, with things on the internet, gossip, culminating in these [copyright] bans," he added.
Despite the positive response and some conversations with Felipe Andreoli and Rafael Bittencourt , Falaschi still doesn't feel completely comfortable being close to his former bandmates. In July of this year, the singer explained his decision not to accept invitations to participate in the Rebirth and said he would do something with Angra at the right time.
“If it’s real, I’ll do it. The problem is that I don’t feel it’s genuine yet, things might change. [Currently] it’s like this: ‘Wow, cool, [there’s] an approach’, then a week goes by and there’s a comment on the internet. But damn, the guy messaged me last week, man. And sometimes [the comments] aren’t even from them, but from people who work for them, these petty squabbles happen and then it makes me lose faith,” Falaschi explained. “The day I really feel it, a real connection, that I want to meet up, have a barbecue, talk again, catch up, talk about good things, the day that happens, it’s really for real.”.
