Edu Falaschi is preparing a grand journey for his first solo album. The album, Vera Cruz, will have an epic story, with prophecies, heroines, and battles against evil forces, as well as special guest appearances.
Angra vocalist released this Friday, the 23rd, the graphic trailer with the prologue of the album and a summary of the narrative that will be explored on the record. Set between Brazil and Portugal during the period of invasion and colonization of our country by the Portuguese, the novel guides Falaschi , with the concept of the lyrics created by the singer and developed by Fabio Caldeira .
“This is certainly one of the most important albums of my career, an album that marks the beginning of a new era in my history as a professional musician and as a solo artist,” comments the singer. “With songs and vocal technique that recapture my main characteristics, which most fans knew me for in the early 2000s, mainly in my work with Symbols and Rebirth , I come with Vera Cruz to continue this story, with a conceptual album, a mixture of fiction, romance and facts, and which takes place during the period of the discovery of Brazil.”
This theme also defined the project's participants, all of whom are Brazilian artists. The album will be released in May 2021 and features Max Cavalera, Elba Ramalho , producer Dennis Ward, Tito Falaschi, Pablo Greg, Federico Puppi, Tiago Mineiro, Maestro Adriano Machado, Rafael Meninão , and the choir called Cor all.
