During his appearance on The Wikimetal Happy Hour , Edu Falaschi answered a fan's question and revealed how he composed the track "Skies In Your Eyes" from the album Vera Cruz (2021).
According to the musician, the idea came to him while he was in the shower. At the same time, guitarist Roberto Barros was at Falaschi's house, composing another song, when the artist was struck by the idea.
“I grabbed my phone and started recording with the sound of the shower [in the background],” says Edu Falaschi. “Then I sang the melody so I wouldn’t forget it and told him [Roberto], ‘Dude, I have an idea for a ballad. I’m going downstairs to record it and I’ll show you right away.’ Then I finished the song, I wrote the whole song, and when he finished his part, there was already another song.”
After the presentation, the musician also played some of the new riffs on the guitar and explained some of the techniques he used. Check out the excerpt:
