After announcing his new album Eldorado , singer-songwriter Edu Falaschi has been gradually revealing details of his second solo work. To the delight of fans, the vocalist announced that producer Dennis Ward will be mixing and mastering the album.
Maintaining the same characteristics as its predecessor, Eldorado will bring all the sound quality and DNA of one of the world's greatest heavy metal producers. With an enviable background, the American producer Dennis Ward has already produced great albums such as Rebirth , Temple Of Shadows and Edu Falaschi's own Vera Cruz . He has also worked with several bands such as Helloween , Unisonic and Pink Cream 69 .
Edu Falaschi explains about Dennis Ward in Eldorado : “It’s an honor to once again count on Dennis’ talent and quality. We’ve done incredible things together like Vera Cruz , Rebirth , Temple Of Shadows , Aurora Consurgens , etc! This time he’ll be able to explore more nuances within Latin music and blend it all perfectly into a power metal album.”
About 'Eldorado'
The complex story behind the album Vera Cruz has taken new turns and become a trilogy. In this second part, Edu Falaschi will showcase even more themes related to Latin America, including Brazil, with cinematic songs that surprise the listener and follow the initial story of the first work.
Eldorado is the second part of the trilogy of the saga of Jorge , the main character in the story of the album Vera Cruz , and also the second album of Edu Falaschi's solo career. This work stands out because, due to the fact that the story of Eldorado begins with the encounter between the Black Bishop and the Aztec empire, the artist's approach encompasses the most diverse aspects of Latin music, from the pre-colonial period to modern Latin music, with songs in Spanish, native languages, rhythms, harmonies, and melodies characteristic of an ancient culture of great cultural value to humanity.
With production by Edu Falaschi and Roberto Barros , the vocalist maintained the band with Aquiles Priester (drums), Fábio Laguna (keyboards), Diogo Mafra (guitar), Roberto Barros (guitar), and Raphael Dafras (bass). Renowned Brazilian designer Carlos Fides is once again responsible for the album's graphic art, which will again feature orchestrations by Pablo Greg and choirs by Edu Falaschi, Fabio Caldeira , Mi Alvelli , and Raissa Ramos . This time, co-production was handled by Paulo Albino , and more details about the technical aspects will be revealed soon.
The album is scheduled for worldwide release in August 2023. Pre-orders are now available in limited, numbered quantities and include an exclusive box containing a stylized Aztec art box, Digibook, T-shirt, Mug, Replica of a Spanish Doubloon, and a surprise gift. Access it here .
