Edu Falaschi announces cover art and pre-order for 'Vera Cruz': his first solo album

The album arrives in May 2021, but fans can already secure the special launch kit through pre-order

Edu Falaschi revealed the cover of Vera Cruz , the artist's first solo album, which will be released in May 2021, but fans can already secure the release in the pre-sale with an exclusive and limited kit for this Friday, the 18th.

The album began recording in November of this year in Rio de Janeiro, with mixing and mastering taking place in Europe, and featuring the same bandmates who have accompanied Falaschi since the beginning of his solo career: Aquiles Priester, Fábio Laguna, Raphael Dafras, Roberto Barros, and Diogo Mafra .

The enigmatic album cover, in turn, is inspired by a fictional story set in colonial Brazil under Portuguese rule. In addition to the album artwork, the story's plot also served as inspiration for the project's tracks.

“I developed this story instinctively, and it was liberating. Writing about the things I believe in, in a novel, in a light and poetic way, helped me a lot to reflect and position myself on certain aspects of life,” says Edu about the album cover and the concept of the lyrics.

The kit launch will include a hardcover Digibook, CD and DVD, booklet summarizing the story, lyrics, photos, t-shirt, and mug. Everything will come in a special, themed box, and will be autographed with a personalized dedication from the artist. Click here to secure yours now!
