Brazilian music icon Elba Ramalho will join forces with Edu Falaschi on the artist's first solo album, Vera Cruz , which will be released in May 2021.

This time I was able to fulfill one of my greatest dreams, to record a song with one of the great representatives of Brazilian music and my beloved Northeast, which is strongly represented in this work. Elba Ramalho gave me the opportunity to have her beautiful voice, interpretation, and all her charisma, talent, and emotion in a beautiful song that will move you all.”

In turn, the artist affirms in her statement that Edu is one of the greatest artists she knows. “His story and his work are a national treasure. His roots are strongly imprinted in the melody and arrangements of this song. I couldn't be happier and more eager to show you this beautiful union! Let's move forward.”
The album began recording in November of this year in Rio de Janeiro, with mixing and mastering taking place in Europe, and featuring the same bandmates who have accompanied Falaschi since the beginning of his solo career: Aquiles Priester, Fábio Laguna, Raphael Dafras, Roberto Barros, and Diogo Mafra .
