Edgard Brito , keyboardist for the group Tuatha de Danann , passed away at the age of 50. The news was released by the band on social media last Wednesday, the 13th.

"It has never been so difficult to post something on social media, folks! Our brother, the "Master" Edgard, has passed away. We are devastated. The Master was certainly one of the best people to ever walk the Earth, a formidable human being, a partner, courageous, a loyal friend, and possessing an absurd and rare talent. In Tuatha, he created fabulous atmospheres, unique moods, fantastic solos and themes that only someone born on the same day as Mozart would be capable of. It is an irreparable loss not only for music, rock, and metal; the world has lost an enlightened being!"

The group concluded the post with the message: “Go rest in peace, bard of infinity. We love you!”

The cause of death has not yet been released.
