Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has revealed details of his new solo album, his first in 11 years – following Ukulele Songs (2011). Earthling , which will be released on February 11th, has already had two singles released, “Long Way” and “The Haves”, and will have its third released this Friday, the 14th.
Earthling will have 13 tracks and was produced by Andrew Wyatt. Vedder will go on tour in February to promote the album and will be accompanied by a band called The Earthlings . The group consists of Glen Hansard on guitar and backing vocals, Chad Smith on drums, Josh Klinghoffer on guitar and Chris Chaney on bass.
The new song that will be presented to the public is called “Brother the Cloud,” and a snippet of it has been released in the video below. Earthling is now available for pre-order.
