Vedder recounts that Rodman was in his hometown for a game, and later, the athlete's security guard showed up with plane tickets to Vegas for the show, which was starting in three and a half hours.

Despite all the hustle and bustle, the musician said that when he finally sat down to watch the show, Rodman looked at him and asked if it wasn't relaxing. Vedder points out that his friend is so energetic that the neurotic situation was actually relaxing for him. Spontaneous friendships like that are necessary sometimes, right?
