A previously unseen video of Eddie Van Halen rehearsing with the rock band Toto in 1992 was recently posted on YouTube.
The rehearsal in question was for a tribute concert to drummer Jeff Porcaro , who passed away that same year. While the coroner attributed the cause of death to occlusive coronary artery disease caused by atherosclerosis due to cocaine use, some doctors who treated Porcaro claim that the musician suffered a heart attack caused by an allergic reaction to inhaling insecticide spray.
The partnership between Eddie Van Halen and his friends from Toto includes Eddie's legendary participation in Michael Jackson on which Porcaro and Steve Lukather were also working. Check out images from the photoshoot in tribute to Jeff Porcaro:
