The TV channel Reelz recently announced that the new episode of the series Autopsy: The Last Hours Of… will be about the famous guitarist Eddie Van Halen .
Autopsy program is a documentary series that seeks to identify possible causes for the "controversial deaths" of celebrities, having already investigated celebrities such as Heath Ledger , Bruce Lee , and Chadwick Boseman . The program itself often provokes controversial reactions from its audience, and Eddie's son, Wolfgang Van Halen , was one of the people who expressed his displeasure.
On his Twitter profile, Wolfgang wrote: “Fuck @ReelzChannel, fuck everyone who works on that show, and fuck you if you watch it. Disgusting as hell to try and glamorize someone's death from cancer. Pathetic and heartless.”
In the official description of the episode, which will air this Sunday, the 4th, Autopsy questions the circumstances of Eddie Van Halen's death, wondering what could have happened, since "if discovered early, Eddie's illness had reasonable survival rates."
Van Halen was battling lung cancer and skin cancer that had affected the skin on his head and neck when he passed away. The official cause of death was identified as a cerebrovascular event, such as a stroke. Eddie also suffered from atrial fibrillation, a condition that causes irregular heartbeats and increases the risk of stroke.
