Tributes to the legendary Eddie Van Halen will certainly continue for the rest of time, but one in particular is about to be completed.
Recently, artist Robert Vargas has been painting a mural of the guitarist, titled Long Live The King , at the Guitar Center , located in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. It is scheduled to be finished on Sunday the 17th and finally unveiled on the 26th.
“I’ll be painting this from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursday through Sunday, January 17th,” says Vargas. “You can drive by and watch me create this epic mural from your car, or you can tune in to the livestream every day at 4 PM. I’ll be playing the entire [ Van Halen ] catalog while I paint!”
