Trunk speaks to Wikimetal

In an interview with Wikimetal this week, That Metal Show host Eddie Trunk spoke about respect and fans in heavy metal.

Trunk said there are many more Metal fans than the media portrays. According to him, Metal fans come from all styles, backgrounds, and backgrounds: “What the media needs to do is treat the music with respect. One of the things I believe holds back the music we love is the stereotype that comes with it.”

Trunk went on to explain that the formation of the stereotype of the Metal fan has led to the marginalization of the genre. According to the journalist, the solution lies in showcasing the diverse types of fans:

“Heavy Metal is loved by many people you look at and wouldn’t say ‘that’s a Metal fan.’ It’s important for people to know that. That’s why it’s important to showcase these people who act, look, and dress differently and love Metal.”.

Trunk will be the master of ceremonies at the Monsters of Rock , which will take place at Arena Anhembi in São Paulo on October 19th and 20th.
