A message to the loyal fans of Eddie, Jim & Don's That Metal Show:
We are sad to announce that VH1 Classic will no longer be producing episodes of That Metal Show. It's been an incredible eight years, almost 125 episodes and many great specials. The worldwide response to TMS has been simply amazing and we will be eternally grateful for the support that Rock and Metal fans have shown us with so much love. We truly wouldn't have gotten this far without you! A huge thank you to the teams we've had over the years in New York and Los Angeles, to our producer Jeff Baumgardner and the executives at VH1. And finally, thank you to the hundreds of artists who joined us on set, had fun with us, shared stories and many laughs. From the biggest names in Rock history to promising newcomers, we thank you for being a part of it.
Interview with Don Jamieson from That Metal Show
Of course we really want to keep That Metal Show alive, and with VH1's blessing we're looking for a new home. We don't know where we'll land yet, but we hope to be in the studio and in your living room soon. In the meantime, keep an eye out for us on the road and come say 'hi'.
Thank you for watching us all these years, and we will keep you informed as soon as we have news.”
