Fans of the band launch campaign
Fans of the band Eagles Of Death Metal, whose concert in Paris last Friday was the target of the largest terrorist attack in the country, launched a campaign this week to turn one of the band's songs into an anthem against terrorism.
Fans of the band launched a campaign on Facebook, “EODMforNo1”, which aims to get the song Save A Prayer , a cover of a Duran Duran classic and part of the new Eagles Of Death Metal album, to the top of the charts to protest the violent act.

The lyrics that say 'don't say a prayer for me now, save it until the next morning' have taken on a new meaning after last week's events. To show their support for the band and protest against terrorism, the campaign asks fans to download the song by 11:59 PM on November 19th. The members of Duran Duran have decided to donate all the money raised from the cover version of the song made by EODM.
Eagles of Death Metal was formed in 1998 by friends Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, known as the frontman of Queens Of The Stone Age.
