During an interview with Eddie Trunk on the SiriusXM show Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk , Duff McKagan revealed that Guns N' Roses has new, unreleased material to release.
“There’s new material. I don’t know how we’re going to promote it. I think that’s also a question. Like, do you release an album? Do you keep releasing singles? I don’t know what the right answer is these days,” the bassist revealed.
The band's last full-length album is Chinese Democracy , from 2008, which features only vocalist Axl Rose from the band's classic lineup. McKagan and guitarist Slash reunited with Axl in 2016 and have since released four independent singles — “ABSUЯD” , “Hard Skool” , “Perhaps” , and “The General” .
A four-song EP titled Hard Skool was released in February 2022. The release was exclusive to the group's official store.
