The work will be inspired by the Guns N' Roses reunion

Duff McKagan has announced that he will release a solo album in 2019. According to the bassist, the work will be inspired by his experiences with the Guns N' Roses .

In a statement about the album, McKagan revealed that he is working with country producer Shooter Jennings and explained the album's theme: "The heartbreak, anger, fear, confusion, and division I've experienced over the past two and a half years traveling the world have transformed these words into songs that tell my truth."

“A truth that I hope will spread and help everyone. I do this for my daughters… I do it because of the love I have for where I grew up… I do it because I truly feel it must be done and said in the times we live in.”

In 1993, the bassist released the solo album Believe In Me , and in 1999 he planned to release Beautiful Disease , but the album was shelved by the record label. His last work was with Duff McKagan's Loaded , when he released The Taking in 2011.
